LITZENBURGER PLACE

Our Litzenburger Place complex, named after a pioneer physician in the Charlevoix County area, offers 53 rental apartments for low income elderly, ages 62 or older, and disabled persons. Tenants must meet current income guidelines and be able to live independently.

Litzenburger Place apartments include:

• One bedroom
• Living/dining area
• Kitchen with appliances including self-cleaning oven and frost-free refrigerator
• Lots of closets for storage
• Large bathroom with either a bathtub or shower unit
• Rents are based on income. Approximately 30 percent of gross monthly income will be your monthly rent or a flat rent currently set at $499.00. Rents include all utilities except electric for some units.

Two on-site laundry facilities are available at no charge. The apartment complex offers a large community room with a full kitchen that is available for tenant use at no charge. Amenities also include a library, computer lab, arts/crafts room, and sun porch with exercise equipment. For your safety, all apartments have medical emergency pull cords linked directly to 911 and a state-of-the-art security camera system in all corridors.
